The Sunday that starts UNGA week
Every year KW Strategy organises the Sunday evening welcome drinks that open United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) week for the global education community. Relaxed, informal, and free to attend: two hours of conversation with colleagues and friends from around the world before the week begins in earnest.
Attending is free, and so is the bar: our partner organisations fund the event so that everyone in the education community can come and network at no cost. Last year every one of the 140 places went, with a waitlist of 200 behind them. This year we need a bigger boat, and more partners to fill it.
2026 partners
These organisations cover the bar and the costs, keeping the evening free for everyone who attends:
- Better Purpose
- Cambridge Partnership for Education
- Chancen International
- Dalberg
- Digital Promise
- EdTech Hub
- Global Schools Forum
- HundrED
- International Education Funders Group
- Jackfruit Finance
- Learning Economy Foundation
- Learning Equality
- Learning Planet Institute
- Luis von Ahn Foundation
- Luminos Fund
- Perkins
- Project Everyone
- Salzburg Global
- Street Child
- Teach For All
Join them as a partner
You do not need to be a partner to attend: the evening is open to the whole education community. Partnering is how it stays that way. $500 from your organisation goes behind the bar and towards costs, your name joins the partner list, and every new partner means a bigger venue and more free places for everyone.
