The Sunday that starts UNGA week
Every year KW Strategy organises the Sunday evening welcome drinks that open United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) week for the global education community. Relaxed, informal, and free to attend: two hours of conversation with colleagues and friends from around the world before the week begins in earnest.
The drinks are free to attend. Last year every one of the 140 places went, with a waitlist of 200 behind them. This year we need a bigger boat, and more partners to fill it.
2026 partners
The drinks are made possible by our partner organisations:
- Project Everyone
- Teach For All
- Global Schools Forum
- Cambridge Partnership for Education
- HundrED
- Salzburg Global
- Digital Promise
- Learning Planet Institute
- EdTech Hub
Join them as a partner
The deal is simple: $500 from your organisation goes behind the bar and towards costs, and your name joins the partner list. Every new partner means a bigger venue and more places. In return, your team and networks are part of the best informal gathering of education people in New York that week.
Registration opens soon. Partner organisations and their networks get first access to places, and the registration link will be published here.
